Harin Contractor

Harin Contractor is the former Director of Labor Policy for the National Economic Council at the White House, where he led numerous critical initiatives to advance issues related to workforce development and economic mobility. Harin was the lead White House staffer that brought together former notable college and professional football players to discuss issues related to inequities in college football as it related to health, safety, and compensation. Harin has nearly 20 years of experience across public policy, government, non-profit, and private sector roles. He is passionate about fighting poverty and inequality, promoting diversity and inclusion, and empowering communities of color. Harin is a die-hard Georgia Bulldawg fan. He holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international affairs from the University of Georgia.
